Pediatric Client Evaluation Series: Lateral /s/ and /z/
Instructor Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson, MS, CCC-SLP bio Course Description This video course will teach on how to conduct an “Initial Oral Placement Therapy (OPT)Evaluation” and four month follow-up “Program Plan Update”, including interviews with the referring SLP and parent, with a six-year-old child with the diagnosis of multiple articulation disorder with lateral production of /s/ and /z/. Learning Outcomes As a result of this course, the participant will be able to: Therapists will be able to complete an “Initial Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) Evaluation for Feeding and Speech.” Therapists will be able to apply the skills learned in this course to conduct a “Program Plan Update.” Therapists will be able to complete a program plan including: Sensory, Oral PhaseFeeding, OPT and Speech techniques.
