About this artwork My American Beauty iron’s thermostat was patented by inventors Frank Kuhn and Laurence H. Thomas in the summer of 1941. I found these beautiful drawings in the U.S. Patent Office archives and wanted to pay tribute to both the inventors and the unknown creator of the schematics.
