A transmission skid/catalytic converter shield for the 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Our plates are designed to function as both an off-road transmission skid plate and a catalytic converter protection plate. This is one of the few skid plates that leave the factory transfer case braces intact. Get the best of both worlds, a plate purposefully designed to both protect your cats from thieves and your transmission from off-road debris. Fitment Ventilation holes to keep temperatures down around the transmission Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory Not compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications (usually lifts greater than 3 inches) In some instances, there may be a tab on a preexisting OEM/TRD skid plate that will need to be bent slightly to allow the transmission shield to slide into place.
