Fitment Ventilation holes to keep temperatures down around the transmission Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory Shield not compatible with lift kits that required subframe modifications (usually lifts greater than 3 inches) In some instances, there may be a tab on a preexisting OEM skid plate that will need to be bent slightly to allow the transmission shield to slide into place. This does not impact the integrity of either shield Fitment has been confirmed on stock 4x4 vehicles Note on catalytic converter protection: The transmission skid plate protects the front catalytic converters and makes it difficult to remove the rear catalytic converters, though they are still visible.
