Star Italian conductor (1933-2014), who after his debut at La Scala in 1960, conducted many of the best orchestras in the world (Vienna Philharmonic, London Symphony, Chicago Symphony, etc) and succeeded H. Von Karajan in 1989 as the chief conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic. His nephew, Roberto Abbado, is also an Italian conductor (b. 1954). Signed photos, each one is 4.1 x 5.9 inches, in excellent condition.
