Hungarian-born American conductor (1888-1963), who reached the pinnacle of his career while music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the 1950s and 1960s. Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in New York, 1934; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Alfredo Valente (New York). Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.
