German conductor (1908-1979), particularly well known as an opera conductor, was also one of the first to make stereo LP recordings of the symphonies of Gustav Mahler. Fine black-and-white photo postcard mounted on a slightly larger piece of soft cardboard signed by him with a short sentiment, shown young inspecting a score, dated in 1955. Total size is 4.5 x 7.25 inches, actual photo is 3.75 x 59 inches, in excellent condition.
