French-American conductor (1875-1964), who enjoyed a successful international career conducting first-rate orchestras around the world for more than half a century. Set of 2 autograph letters in French (sold untranslated) signed by the conductor, dated in December 1954 and February 1955; both letters with the letterhead of the bar The Town House, New York. Letter dated 1954 is addressed to the Russian tenor Joseph Rogatchewsky when he was the director of Theatre de La Monnaie in Brussels (1953-1959). Letter dated 1954 is 3 pages long, letter dated 1955 is 1 page long. Both letters are 5.9 x 9.3 inches in size; both in excellent condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATED.
