I was lucky to get these beautiful specimens. King Kong Parrots are considered the top of the line in the Parrot world. There is a lot of confusion in the world of Parrot cichlids as to what constitutes a King Kong Parrot. Some people say a King Kong can close it's mouth and all other Parrots can not. My importer says they base it on being the reddest parrots available. These Parrots can not close their mouth, but it certainly isn't slowing them down when it comes time to eat.
