The donor, the “Bacio” Gelato 41, was selected because of its market desirabilities like high potency, purple color, skunky gassy flavor, and density of buds. CC4 (StrawNana x Burmese)- A one out of 25 selection from a cross between the clone StrawNana and a Burmese Maui Afghan-Indica Burmese-that carried the Burmese flavor, was very resilient with a long window of ripening, being able to be harvested at all points-a “conditions permitting” cultivar, and purpling at maturity.
