In the Science Illustration Lab, students will learn to observe the natural world through an artist’s eye- studying real specimens like insects, feathers, and bones while practicing the techniques used by scientific illustrators and field guide artists. Through guided lessons in drawing, shading, and color study, students will build foundational skills in both art and biology while beginning to create their own illustrated mini field guide by the end of the session. This class is perfect for young artists, nature lovers, and curious minds who enjoy slowing down to notice the beautiful details of the world around them.All supplies included.
