Requirements For Completion: Successfully complete the Specialty Instructor Seminar as outlined in the instructor manual for the Specialty Instructor program. Note: No proof of logged dives is required for this method. Co-Teaching: Minimum Instructor Rating: The candidate may co-teach the applicable specialty program with an active status Specialty Instructor who is certified to teach that specialty. Requirements For Completion: Successfully co-teach at least one complete specialty program as outlined in the instructor manual for the Specialty Instructor program. Have at least ten (10) logged dives in the applicable specialty. Verification Application: Minimum Instructor Rating: Assistant Instructors may apply for the applicable specialty program. Requirements For Completion: Have at least 20 logged dives in the applicable specialty Complete the applicable student materials, including digital learning, review questions and final exam, or provide proof of an equivalent certification.
