Expanded Shell: Half Dollar Heads

The expanded shell is probably the most versatile gimmick in coin magic. The shell allows extra cleanliness and gives you access to classic plots like Coins Across, Coins Through Table, and many more! The coin gaffs we carry are made by Roy Kueppers to our exact specifications. There are two types of shells: expanded and unexpanded. Expanded shells are stretched out slightly before they are hollowed out, so they will fit over any normal coin. Unexpanded shells are not stretched, so you have to use specially manufactured cut down coins to fit inside. We only carry expanded shells, since they're more versatile, so you will need to provide (or borrow) your own matching coins to use with the shell.
