Caramelized Cayenne

Sweet burnt flavor with up front heat! This is a Taos Hum Gem… made from two special varieties of Cayenne derived from years of seed selection by our farmer friends Chad and Andy.  The Golden Cayenne from Chad has a sweet flavor and a fast upfront burn while the Red Cayenne from Andy is a prolific, big dark red  HOT cayenne.  The two together, along with the end of season green fruit from both varieties are caramelized over a hot apple wood open fire.  The roasting brings out the sweetness, Chunky, thick, a true taser of Northern New Mexico! *Wax topper colors vary. The bottle you receive may have a different wax topper than pictured. Contents separate naturally, shake it like you mean it!
