It alternates red and white (silver) in 16 inch intervals to meet federal requirements for marking gates and traffic control arms. It has a 10 year outdoor rating and can be used to mark rail and other gate and gate arm conspicuity applications as well as a variety of other applications where bright night and daytime conspicuity is needed.
