The Circle We Make gathers sixteen paintings that hold the thresholds of birth and early motherhood, rendered on both silk and raw canvas. Each material is chosen for its response to pigment — canvas grounding the mark, silk dispersing it with lightness — mirroring the shifting states of the body and mind in transition. Moving between abstraction and figuration, Jade allows forms to surface through repeated washes of color.
