DESCRIPTION Archival ink on museum-quality cotton rag paper | 2020 Jacques Brun’s series of still life photographs depicts otherworldly floral arrangements that represent imaginary organic systems preserved from humankind. Inspired by the shapes and colors of corals, Brun conceived of these works while dreaming up a natural world full of wonder and awe, wishing to document these diverse species and freeze them in time to reflect the threat of existence of all organisms as if they were the last natural vestiges of the Anthropocene.
