For Rude Boy

This is an extension of a previous collection, SOLUS. The new works encompass more of a connection outside the self and inspiration captured on film of Scotland and London with a hat tip to Texas. Drawing heavily from time spent in the quiet countryside of Fife, Scotland, Edinburgh, and on the vibrant streets of London — this collection celebrates a thoughtful connectedness to new territory, people, and way of life. Seven rolls of film left Pinney with a bevy of inspiration and iconography to revisit. Bright countryside palettes, native wildflowers and plants, livestock, English breakfasts, English gardens, snails, art, new friends, thoughtful and old architecture all played into the works. Pinney hopes to do justice to the beauty of these places with her visual representation.
