Little Red Hen
FINAL SALE Los Angeles is a city of reinvention, but its heart beats in the places that stay the same. the Reel Inn in Malibu and The Little Red Hen Coffee Shop in Altadena were more than just restaurants—they were institutions, gathering spaces where locals and travelers alike found comfort in a meal and the quiet permanence of the familiar. When both were lost in the January 2025 fires, their absence left a mark deeper than their footprints on the map.In response, artist Claire Salvo has created two limited edition prints that serve as both tribute and artifact, preserving these spaces in fine, deliberate lines. Each drawing carries the weight of memory—the tilt of a roof, the glow of a neon sign—offering a way to remember what was and, perhaps, to hold onto what remains.
