Our Genuine American Bison Rugs are hand selected from Prime Winter hides then tanned in the USA with a traditional non-chromium method.   Countless hours of hand work go into the preparation, tanning and finishing, with skilled craftsmen thinning the hide by hand.  The result is a beautiful and luxuriously soft, pliable rug suitable for home display or unique bison coats and robes.   Size:  Approximately 35 - 40 sqft.  (Each is unique and will vary in size) These are the Best-of-the-Best hair on Bison you will find anywhere, not to be compared with lesser-cost items found elsewhere.  Unlike chromium (blue) tanned overseas with a heavy thick hide weighing 30+ lbs, these rugs will weigh 16 - 22 lbs on average.
