Red Cloud’s Award-Winning Moorit-Grey Felted Pelt

This felted pelt measures 4 feet long by 3 feet wide and is a subtle mix of reds, browns, creams, and greys, that change based on the light of the room. This is my Breeding Ram’s first fleece he has produced, paired with carded wool from 2 ewes by the names of Rudbeckia and Hygge to make the felted backing. This is one entire year’s worth of wool growth from the three sheep named above. This felted pelt won First Place in the wool division and Reserve Best in Show Overall at the WY Sheep and Wool Festival this year in Thermopolis.
