Despite its 13-year aging, the prevalent oak influence, starting sweet and transitioning to a drier note in the finish, does not overpower. Far from being labeled as "over-oaked," the bourbon achieves balance with ample brown sugar, burnt caramel, and subtle fruity undertones, resulting in a nuanced and enjoyable selection.
