Betadine® Surgical Scrub Veterinary 7.5% Antiseptic Sudsing Skin Cleanser Betadine® Surgical Scrub Veterinary 7.5% is an antiseptic, microbial scrub that kills bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi, and yeasts. It is composed of 7.5% povidone iodine for pre-operative prepping of skin on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horses, and helps to reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection. For external use only.Directions for Use: After the surgical area is clipped, wet with water. Apply Scrub (1 cc is sufficient to cover an area of 20-30 square inches), develop lather, and scrub thoroughly for about five minutes. Rinse off using sterile gauze saturated with water.
