Pennsylvania Dutch Quilted Ball: Hand Sewn Quilting Series IV

This class is part of the five-part virtual Hand Sewn Quilting Series IV. We’ll begin by exploring the history and traditions of Pennsylvania Dutch textile folk art, looking at how crafting has long been a way to live in rhythm with the seasons, stay connected to the land, and pass down knowledge and wisdom through generations. In this 2.5 hour class, we will create a no-sew quilted ornament using fabric scraps—a beginner-friendly, meditative project that’s as beautiful as it is practical.
