Scottish Collection Butter Tablet Chocolate

Butter tablet is the Scottish version of fudge. Traditionally made with sugar, butter and condensed milk, it has a distinctive texture and flavor all of it's own. We have called upon a neighbor, Ross's of Edinburgh, to supply us with their authentic Scottish tablet for this bar. They have been making Scottish sweeties for over 130 years, and their tablet is delicious creamy with a lovely buttery flavor.  We have combined the tablet with a mixture of white and 'gold' chocolate. Gold chocolate is white chocolate that's been made with caramelized sugar and caramelized milk, and has rich notes of toffee, butter, cream and a dash of salt. It's golden fudge-like color makes this bar look uncannily like tablet too!
