The SD5V industrial fan is made for those large areas that require a serious amount of blowing power. It comes with a fully-enclosed 1.5 HP TEFC motor, plus wall mounted speed control that can stand up to tough conditions for years. The variable speed setting allows you to adjust the airflow depending on the season - like in winter, when you can run it on a low setting to mix the warmer air that sits near the ceiling, or reduce any floor sweating. It must be suspended at least 10' from the ground and 3' from the ceiling, with the perfect height being between 18 and 30 feet high. For production lines, keep these industrial fans in a row at about a 30-degree angle, with each fan about 60 feet from the other, so they can move clean air in from one end and blow out the exhaust at the other..
