However, don’t worry about the possibility of any unwanted guest it has been kiln dried assuring that the wood is stable and any unwanted guests are gone.This piece is 8” wide, 4.75” tall not including the test tube which adds another 4” giving it an overall height of 8.375” The body is 1.75” thick which should provide plenty of stability. The wood has been coated with polyurethane and polished with our own board butter to bring out the shine for its natural features.  .
