This Band holds a special place in my heart Life is meant to be experienced, Curiosity will get you there If you're not familiar with my story, I’ve had a long history of depression dating back to before I was 10 years old. I was hospitalized once as a kid and again when I was 26. Lots of “I don’t want to be here” moments. While most 10-year-olds were trying to be ninjas or sports stars, I was looking for the meaning of life. Life didn’t make sense; it seemed so absurd, and we were all going to die anyway, so why keep going? As I got older, that never went away, but I kept looking. I can’t remember when it happened exactly, but I was asking again, "What is the meaning of life? What is life? What’s the reason for it to exist, except to experience it?" And there it was. Maybe it was that simple? Just like a movie exists to be seen, a roller coaster exists to be ridden, life exists to be experienced.
