All the fast guys have a method to confirm the spring rate of their springs on a constant basis. Springs do wear out! Usually, you have a car which was very good but under same conditions at a race it does something that makes you wonder what happened. After checking setup, transmission, radio settings, motor, ESC, nothing obvious shows up until you find a spring down 25% compared to what it was. Problem solved!
