Integrating Sound Datalogger
Sper Scientific’s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures and records sound pressure level (SPL) over time to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ). Sper Scientific’s Integrating Sound Datalogger measures sound pressure level (SPL) according to A or C weighting and integrates the weighted SPL over an established length of time (such as an 8-hour workday) to calculate cumulative sound exposure (LEQ). Test parameters are simultaneously displayed on a large, bright, backlit display, featuring 0.1 dB resolution and a bar graph. Up to 64,000 data records can be stored in the meter, saved, graphed, and processed on a computer through the USB interface and included software. The bidirectional USB port and software also enable control of the meter via its on-screen image. Features include SPL and LEQsound level readings, fast and slow time weighting, A and C frequency weightings, and over-limit and under-limit alarms. A single dynamic 30 to 130 dB range eliminates the need to manually sel
