The small blade with a sharp edge is ideal for shaping the bony nasal septum and in procedures of submucous resection. The septum chisel & Gouge is an instrument used for the resection of the nasal septum during surgical procedures. These chisels are handheld, manual instruments that consist of a straight handle leading to a wide, flat cutting blade that is beveled on one side.
