2004 Martin DM-12

Less than 20 years ago, good quality American-made acoustic guitars were still available at reasonable prices. Nowadays, everything priced under $1,200 is made in Mexico or somewhere overseas, so it can be hard to believe that modest, hard-working guitars were still made in America just a short while ago.  Introduced in 1995, the original Martin Road Series were proudly made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. These are stripped-down, bolt-on neck guitars with satin finishes, but they're still quality USA-made acoustic guitars. With solid Spruce tops and genuine rosewood fingerboards, the DM and the DM12 12-string were a good buy in their day, and in today's used market, they're still an exceptional value, especially when they include their hardshell case.  This 2004 Martin DM-12 has held up nicely over the years, and it's in excellent condition all around.
