2004 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Bass

In the early development of the electric guitar, the Gibson Les Paul model was absolutely revolutionary. It is easily one of the most recognizable electric guitar designs. Particularly influential was the late-'50s Les Paul with its Flame Maple top and iconic Heritage Cherry Sunburst. When the late-'50s design was revived in 1968, Gibson followed it up with the Les Paul Standard Bass in 1968. This four-string counterpart of the unmistakable Les Paul guitar provides the right look on the stage as well as powerful low-end presence.  In the early 2000s, Epiphone began building this design in their Korean Saein factory. The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Bass features a long 34" scale, a Flame Maple top, an Alder body, and two humbucking pickups.
