In 1961, Gibson redesigned their EB-0 electric bass to match the unique shape of the SG guitar, and a classic was born! Something about the SG body just balances well with the EB-0 design. The EB-0 is a straight-forward bass: short 30-1/2" scale and one big humbucker in the neck position. Relative to other bass pickups, the EB-0 humbucker has strong output, which gives it booming low end that shakes doors and rattles the windows. But with easily-accessible volume and tone controls, you're able to dial in some different sounds to fit the setting.  The Epiphone EB-0 is a faithful modern-day reproduction of the original Gibson EB-0. It has a few cost-cutting design considerations—bolt on neck, laminate body, polyurethane finish, etc.—but it's effective. Body: Laminate Mahogany Neck: Laminate Mahogany with slim-taper "D" profile Fingerboard: Rosewood with dot lianes Scale Length: 30-1/2" Nut Width: 1-1/2" Bridge: 3-point adjustable This 2011 Epiphone EB-0 is in excellent shape all around
