Usubagata Knife
This Usubagata kitchen knife from Kanetsune has an elegant simplicity that makes it a must-have for the kitchen. This type of knife is ideal for cutting and preparing vegetables. The cleaver-esque blade is made from SUS410 stainless steel with a Takefu-Shiro-2 core. The blade has a two-tone finish of satin and bead blasting that leaves a stripe right over the grind line. The handles are made a very light red plywood that provides a good grip while adding almost nothing to the weight. This knife provides a great value for traditional Japanese quality.
