0.36 Caliber (Navy) Colt Type Bullet

Here’s a very unusual bullet. I have not seen it shown in any of my bullet books…but it is mentioned in the Thomas handbook bullet 7. This is a 0.36 caliber (navy) Colt type bullet with serrations around its base. These serrations are also know as roulettes. The condition of this bullet is very good dug with a real nice patina. The solid base is smooth & this bullet was dug from the Corinth/Shiloh area. Measures about 0.375 x 0.61 inches.
