For your consideration one 0.44 caliber single shot pistol bullet much like a McKee & Mason 166. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition . The patina is a thick white color & I do not see a single patina chip. This is a watermelon shaped bullet with one end pointed & one end is blunt where the sprue was cleanly cut off. One mold seam can be easily seen in the right photo. Measures about 0.475 x 0.61 inches. Dug from a winter camp 1863-64 of CS General Longstreet camp near Rutledge, NE Tenn. His first winter after Gettsyburg.
