For your consideration one McKee & Mason 551 - Thomas handbook 183 Buck & Ball cartridge (round). This round layed too close to a camp fire & was partially melted (fused) together. There are no glues - no dirt mixed in to hide something - just partially melted lead. Outlines of all 3 0.36 caliber buck balls can be seen. I rated in excellent dug & partially melted condition. The patina is a near perfect white color.
