TL7159 Greene Carbine Bullet-CSA $17

For your consideration one Vicksburg rifle bullet listed in Thomas RoundBall to RimFire Vol4 as bullet 286. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition...a real beauty! The patina is a real nice white color & I do not see a single patina chip. Much of this bullet is still covered with dirt. A faint nose cap ring can be seen & the cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.52 x 1.115 inches. Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.  A Vicksburg rifle is a Kentucky long rifle rebored to a 0.54 caliber. Thomas states at least some of these bullets were made at the Nashville arsenal.
