Very Tall Vicksburg Rifle Bullet - Nice ~ TL7675 $26

For your consideration one Vicksburg rifle bullet listed in Thomas RBRF4 as 288. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice light grey to light white color. A nose cast mark can be easily seen & the cavity is a cone. Mold seams can be seen on both sides of this bullet. Measures about 0.525 x 1.165 inches. Dug from the Corinth - Shiloh area.  A Vicksburg rifle is a Kentucky long rifle - country rifle rebored to 0.54 caliber. A good shooter but they did not last well in the field.
