Vicksburg Rifle Bullet - CSA TL7531 $18

For your consideration one Thomas RBRF4 bullet 286 Vicksburg rifle bullet. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a real nice white color...most of this bullet is covered with North Georgia red clay dirt. I do not see a single patina chip. The cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.52 x 1.12 inches.  Thomas states Vicksburg rifles were Kentucky or country rifles that were rerifled to .54 cal. probably at Vicksburg or Holly Springs, Miss. Somewhere I read these rifles were good shooters but they did not campaign well.
