5-TAMRA-DBCO
5-TAMRA-DBCO can be used for fluorescent labeling through copper-free click chemistry reaction with azides. 5-TAMRA is the purified single isomer of 5(6)-TAMRA. It is widely used to label peptides and proteins. Readily excited by the 546 nm spectral line from mercury-arc lamps used in fluorescent microscopes, and is intrinsically more photostable than fluorescein. DBCO has been widely used in click chemistry and reacts with azide without copper catalyst.
