Finely Handcrafted Je Tsongkhapa Statue Set with Je Gyaltsab, Je Khedrup  This beautifully crafted piece of Je Tsongkhapa Statue Set employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. Here, in the set, we can see Je Tsongkhapa accompanied by two of his disciples, Je Gyaltsab and Je Khedrup. Each of the statues in the set was hand-carved out of copper, gilded in gold, and highlighted with acrylic paints. We can see the highly revered Buddhist preacher, Tsongkhapa performing the 'Dharmachakra mudra,' a gesture representing the the master's role as a spiritual leader. The two disciples can be seen forming the 'Vitraka mudra,' discussion and transmission of the Buddha's teachings. Since many centuries ago, we have been creating old Vajrayana statues like this one.
