Hand-carved Buddhist Sculpture of Guru Rinpoche The beautiful sculpture of Guru Rinpoche was made utilizing traditional Himalayan techniques with months of handwork and determination. The statue is carved out of pure copper and glided with genuine 24k gold in our studio. To give perfect detail to the deity, we used acrylic paints. Guru Rinpoche was believed to have taught Vajrayana in Tibet and is credited for introducing Buddhism in Tibet. He is depicted with a piercing gaze with a semi wrathful expression seated upon a moon disc lotus. Padmasambhava holds a skull cup, Dorje, with a long tantric staff resting on his shoulder.
