Hand Carved Statue of The Buddha Shakyamuni  This one of a kind sculpture of the Buddha Shakyamuni was made by our master craftsmen of Kathmandu. Carved from the finest materials, the artists have used a pure copper body and 24k gold to coat the body of the sculpture. The deity is depicted sitting over a moon disc lotus with two elephants spewing multicolored water beside the throne. The deity wears a crown and multiple body ornaments entirely covered in precious stones signifying royalty and statues, the crown seat, which covers the backside of the statue, is decorated with turquoise stones. An umbrella resides atop the crown seat, indicating that the person below is the center of the universe. The right arm is extended over the knee in the earth witness mudra, with the fingers touching the ground. The left hand is placed on the lap, palm upward, in the meditation mudra with an alms bowl.
