This Variable Valve Timing System takes the classic RB26 engine to the next level, combining the "V CAM SYSTEM" with the "VALCON type RB26" as an affordable set. The Step2 Vcam System features a specially designed cam with a duration of 264° and a valve lift of 8.7mm. Compared to the solid Step1 camshaft (272IN-272EX), Step2 offers smoother acceleration at high RPMs. This camshaft is ideal for achieving higher power outputs across the entire engine RPM range. When used in conjunction with upgraded Valve Springs at high RPMs (recommended limit of 8500rpm), Step2 provides enhanced strength and durability. You can expect substantial improvements in engine output and torque compared to the solid Step1 (272IN/EX). Step2 is specifically designed to deliver significant power and torque gains, especially for vehicles tuned to output 600ps or higher, surpassing the performance of the old type Step1 type B (256EX)
