Pottery Wheel Week Summer Clay Camp: July 21-24
Terracotta PullmanJuly 21-July 24 (Tues-Fri)9am-12noon or 1-4 p.m. Just 5 seats per session Your young artist will develop beginning-level skills with the studio pottery wheels this week, and gain experience and practice setting up, centering, throwing, removing, cleaning, drying and trimming, and maintaining a safe and clean pottery studio environment. Completion of Studio Sampler Week 1 or a prior Terracotta Camp is strongly encouraged. Projects include: A wheel-thrown bowl (or two) A wheel-thrown mug (or two) A wheel-thrown bud vase (or two) (Up to 6 finished pieces, total) Day One: During the first day of camp, our artists will become oriented to our community pottery studio and begin to learn and develop beginning pottery skills.
