The fleshy actively growing areas of this variant are completely green. We also have a brown and green variant. Their appearance at night can be significantly different then during the day. After sunset they take on more of a classic textbook polyp appearance with tentacles extended for feeding. They are sometimes referred to as Trumpet coral.
