ReefGen Project X Fungid Fungia Plate WYSIWYG Frag 15Right

This specimen is on a 1.25" frag plug. This aquacultured Purple Fungia Plate coral is purple with green tentacles. These guys are awesome and one of aquarist Jon Gordon's favorites. For whatever reason it does not appear to be common to find aquacultured Fungia plates. Likely because of this it is rare to find a named lineage. We acquired one from ReefGen in June of 2017. From ReefGen, "Aquacultured Fungia Plate Coral These miniature Fungias are Laura's carefully cultivated babies. Thanks to a lucky find of some productive Fungia cloning stalks, ReefGen now offers a limited number of small plate corals featuring purple discs, and green tentacles! We have trained this stunning fungia morph to encrust and grow lobes with amazingly vivid colors!
