Damasteel Utility (Ironwood)

This handy little knife was forged from a small piece of stainless Damasteel.  The full size, contoured handle is made from desert Ironwood with a black Richlite bolster.   Making these little knives is extremely enjoyable, and getting to forge within the parameters of powdered stainless steels is a fun challenge.  These were designed to be used for typical everyday tasks like cutting cordage and opening packages, however the versatile shape and stainless blade open up many more possibilities around the house or camp.    Overall length:  6.25" Blade length:  2"' Blade thickness at spine;  .07"
